We Hope all is well. Welcome to our blog of recipes, food-related experiences and excursions! We are Stephanie & Jesse. We write, cook and photograph artisan foods from our kitchen in the former French Concession, Shanghai.
Both Jesse and I have been cooking all of our lives just for the enjoyment, never on a professional basis. We love to find fun ways to incorporate the dishes we know from the West with the ingredients we can find here in the East. I am an interior designer and Jesse is in real estate. We have been living, cooking and eating in Shanghai for over 3 years. I’m from Portland, Oregon, and Jesse is from NYC. We hope you like our cooking!
